Corporate Council on Africa’s (CCA) 2005 U.S.-African Business Summit held in Baltimore with 2,000 attendees, six African Heads of State and the president of The World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz participating with WGC serving as the event’s communications firm and media consultant. CCA is comprised of 200 U.S. corporations that provide 85 percent of all U.S. private investment in Africa. WGC also organized the media luncheon for the five African presidents meeting with President George W. Bush on debt relief prior to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles in Scotland.
